My teaching philosophy is all children can learn in a loving environment that is developmentally appropriate. I incorporate a variety of enriching activities respecting individual learning styles. My teaching methods and curriculum create a classroom that is intriguing, engaging and playful.

Personals:
I have lived in the Northwest for eight years. I have two children, Andrew and Marco. They have both attended Newport Children’s School. My extended family resides in Texas and throughout Mexico. Although I grew up in Texas, Spanish was my first language. I’ve spent many summers in various parts of Mexico, as I love the culture and the people.

We offer a program built on a child’s natural sense of wonder, where your child will discover the joy of learning.

Interest/Hobbies:

Hiking, rollerblading, running, fishing, and collecting insects with my sons.
